    Pros

You are sure going to learn a lot from the bunch of experienced Engineers who work at Ditch Witch, Inc.
Friendly work culture and casual attires.

    Cons

    Management needs to improve.
It is located in a small town, so sometimes tends to get boring for young people ( which are few).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to be improved. They need to have a proper planning about hiring new individuals.

Worst company I have ever worked for!!! Employees aren't paid for experience or what they can bring to the table.

I have been working at Charles Machine full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They pay their employees on time. Some managers are nicer than others. Provide free water and iced tea, also comes with ice.

    Cons

The money is horrible. Have been a machinist for 9 years. Have been promised over and over again that I would make what I should. Still at the same pay. Was started machinist 1 and still remain the same after a year with 9 YEARS VERIFIABLE CNC WORK EXPERIENCE. Managers and supervisors treat people very different depending on if they are well liked or not. Work production, safety, quality, and scrap rate's don't matter unless you are a problem. Nothing is rewarded for. I make $6+ less than where I previously worked. Barely make enough to put food on the table while upper management is making a ridiculous amount. Have experience working at saws, lathes, mills, forklifts, water jets, and have programming experience using various programs including mastercam and nesting programs. Am paid as I know nothing whatsoever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of worrying about your private jet with the private jet strip on the property, pay the people who make you this crazy amount of money what they should. Have been doing CNC work for 9+ years and started at the same amount as the next guy that came in straight out of high school with no experience what so ever. Not fair at all in my opinion and a lot of others that have been there some amount of time. Pay your employees what they should!!! From a current CNC night shift worker that is looking for something else.

    Pros

    Health and retirement are ok.

    Cons

Department director was incredibly narcissistic, constantly inflating himself while putting others down. Very demoralizing to subordinates. Chaotic work assignments, unrealistic expectations, poor planning from upper management. Corporate culture has gotten considerably worse over the last few years, where employee concerns are sometimes punished instead of valued. Layoffs seem to be more cyclical and regular. Pay is a little unorthodox, where salary is tied to monthly sales levels, which means it can vary considerably from month-to-month. Poor vision and dental benefits.

    Pros

Potential for growth within industry, focus on Lean Mfg, senior level dedication to innovation and change beginning to trickle down to all levels

    Cons

Not many opportunities outside of Perry, red tape typical of a mid sized company, somewhat reactionary to market - push for innovative design has not been met

    Pros

the best reasons to work at dwmw would be the daily routines change all the time. Evrydya is different so it is not monotenous. you get a company vehicle an get to ste your own daily tasks. The territory is fairly large sothere is opportnity to work it and grow it. The profit sharing is nice and benefits were average

    Cons

the down falls are that there are long hours and you are out doors most of the time. You can work in the heat of the summe or the cold winter. the base pay is not that high. Since it is a small company there is no a whole lot of room to be promeoited. Mst people have been there a while so you have to figure on them retiring beofre you can get promoted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    tye do a ogod job
