I have been working at Charles Schwab full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The culture of Schwab really focuses on a work life balance.
If you are a motivated and dedicated individual Schwab will allow you to move into just about any opportunity.
Management is focused on whats best for the client, while promoting their employees around the company.
Great ethics from the top all the way down. CEO even stopped by for an overnight shift to deliver cupcakes and visit with the employees at 9pm.

    Cons

Bonus structure could have a wider range based on individual contributions but not terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to empower employees to be better and promote.

I worked at Charles Schwab full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The ethical work environment is client focused. Good benefits and great people to work with.

    Cons

Salary is not competitive in the industry. Upper management has tendency of putting projects in full swing without the insight of the front line employee which results in large unnecessary issues and a work environment that is not employee focused.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more insight from the front lines as a part of the sales meetings so the client experience is seamless with very little hiccups on very important issues.

I have been working at Charles Schwab full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The base pay is very good, pretty equal to what you with other companies in similar roles. They are not super pushy with sales.

    Cons

The company is not very good at rolling new things out, they either keep delaying things or roll it out with flaws, that end up impacting you hitting your goal. Is a 24/7 facility with very few "standard hour" positions on the entry level.

    Cons

No promotions, executives too focused on the bottom line. People are people, not resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
