    Cons

it's sales jobs so you do have to be a good sales person

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I really wish they would do branch goals instead of indivilal goals if they just did one over all branch goal then there would be time that we would be able to work more as a team

I worked at Charter One Bank full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Lots of interaction with diverse customers, good earnings potential besides the already decent starting wage, fun atmosphere with colleagues and good team players.

    Cons

A lot of sales pressure (opening new accounts, getting new loan and credit card applications). Quarterly goals have to be exceeded if you expect to get any bonuses. Working inside a grocery store branch, one can expect to also work on Sundays.

I worked at Charter One Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay was good but not competitive within industry

    Cons

Management is very rude and condescending. Have not regard for employees. Staffing is lacking in overall numbers. Branches are often run by 2 employees, leaving no time for even restroom breaks at times. Even with these minimal staffing levels, no overtime is permitted and branch employees are required to work Saturdays and late evenings

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job of staffing. Get rid of horrendous management attitude
