Pros
Flexible hours, ability to balance time between work and family duties. Company is very understanding of personal/family needs.
Cons
Salary quite low compared to the industry average. Raises rarely given, to the point where the only way to get a raise is to find a job at a competitor, then maybe when you announce that you are leaving you might get the salary you deserve.
Advice to Senior Management
Very smart money management, producing solid results even in tough economic times.
Employee compensation should be looked into. No commission caps, higher salaries should be considered. No playing around with quotas for the sales organization. If you sell, you should be rewarded, no increasing of next years quotas to numbers that are impossible to achieve. This only shows that the money earned by someone when blowing out their number, will be taken away the following year by issuing an unattainable quota. -
