    Pros

Managing Partner opportunities allow you to be in charge of your destiny

    Cons

Occasionally unrealistic budgets set forth, they often did not understand the differences in customers and spending habbits from region to region

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your management team more, if you had enough faith to hire them in the 1st place then have enough faith to believe that sometimes they may know things that you don't

I have been working at Cheeseburger in Paradise part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

great environment, good food, awesome co-workers.

    Cons

not much business, dirty, unsanitary cooks, not well-ran, open extremely late, very low pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

make the hours 11:30-10 during the week and 11:30-11 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Maybe even close for a couple of hours during the day when they are not busy. Advertise more; put more signs on the street behind the building instead of just the one facing the freeway, letting people know what and where it is. Do not have so many employees on the clock at once. only use the absolute necessary amount, because there are usually an excessive amount of people working at once.

    Pros

I cannot think of one. The people are nice, other employees that is, not management.

    Cons

No sick days. If you call in sick you risk getting fired immediately. No benefits, no praise, only negative insults aimed at you from management. Management will make your sections smaller, give you extra sidework and generally make it so you will not make any money if they think you cross them. They keep everyone under 32 hours a week so they do not have to pay benefits. This company also makes you tip out 3% of your sales back to the restaurant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees better and your business will flourish.

I have been working at Cheeseburger in Paradise

    Pros

Fun laid back environment. Friendly and supportive teammates. Small company environment with a lot of growth potential. Flexible hours. Great product to be promoting. How can you not love your job when you are selling amazing food, yummy cocktails and a fun atmosphere?

    Cons

The company sets high expectation standards for their employees without a lot of supervision. This is perfect if you are an independent thinker and self motivator, but not a conducive work environment if you like having specific daily tasks and constant supervision. You also have a tendency to work after hours and on weekends, however they are good about giving you time off during non busy times to make up for it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Thank you for making Cheeseburger in Paradise a work environment where I feel challenged daily, allowed me to grow professionally, and develop business and personal relationships that will continue for the rest of my career even if that is outside of this company.
