I worked at Cheesecake Factory part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everything about the company was great. Very well structured and they know what they are doing. The staff is fun and becomes family. If you work hard and get with the program you can do anything with the company. Highly recommend.

    Cons

Customer service can be challenging at times, but if you enjoy it, there are more good days than not.

    Advice to Management

Management keep doing what you re doing. The games such as bingo make for a fun night of serving and helps servers push items they normally would not.

I worked at Cheesecake Factory (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company cares so much about their employees. The culture is wonderful, supportive and fun!

    Cons

Unfortunately, doubles could turn into 12-14 hour days of Never ending rushes.

I worked at Cheesecake Factory part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was good experience, especially if you want to see the inner workings of the machine.

    Cons

The salary was too low to be a full-time position, but great to get off the floor and learn new skills.

I worked at Cheesecake Factory full-time

    Pros

What a fabulous place to work, especially if you're like me; and totally in love with cheesecake, all you can eat, every day, forever, as much as you can stuff yourself!

    Cons

Wow! Too much cheesecake causes bloating, farting, gastro-intestinal no-no, and a need to run to the crapper 10-20 times per shift; lots of stincko, for sure!

    Advice to Management

just keep on doin what you are doin, it's funtastic, offer as pay more than JUST cheescake, something else, for a change! a welcome change!

    Pros

Good training, benefits, and work environment. Plenty of opportunities to gain more responsibilities and experience.

    Cons

The people that come into the restaurant can be that certain power-trip type that always threatens to "call corporate" even if the smallest thing goes wrong.

I have been working at Cheesecake Factory full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great systems and great people

    Cons

Depending on store location career growth can be stunted or delayed and the pay is low especially for hours worked vs the cost of living in the Bay Area

    Advice to Management

Close the salary gap a little more from GM to the other managers. Bonus structure is way to complex and un-attainable.
