Pros
Management built a strong company with a leading local market presence.
Cons
Sale to Capital One has chnaged the culture at the firm.
Advice to Senior Management
Very well run prior to the Capital One sale
Pros
CCB built great brand recognition in the marketplace. Proud to work there. Excellent training and management; CCB prepares you to become a manager and supports you when you do. Exciting sales environment (pro and con)
Cons
work/life balance was not something CCB built into their work foundation. Too many hours not enough staff. Drive to meet sales goals - great when did but difficult to achieve with many factors out of your control preventing it.
Pros
stadard retail banking sales/service position
Cons
boring to work in retail banking in general, nothing about CCB itself
Pros
Hours were easy, fair pay. Co worker were fun to work with.
Cons
No advancement, too much sales goals.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote and retain great employee instead of hiring from outside people with no banking experience!

A lot of sales skills required

Bank of America attitude with a Community Bank claim
Advice to Senior Management
Management would retain mediocre employees in lieu of losing strong talent
Pros
Flexible Hours because it is in non-banking I was able to come in between 7 am and 9am . leave between 3:30 and 5pm. Benefits were good. Independent work. Management was great when you needed to leave and/or have time off.
Cons
My experience with Chevy Chase Bank was a great. For this position I was not able to come up with any cons. Of course pay can always be more.
Advice to Senior Management
Always remember you are successful because of your great staff. Don't ever think that you are better than anyone. Everyone and all jobs are expendable.
Pros
Education opportunities allow for professional growth and development
Cons
Acquistion by Capital One may have changed infrastructure
Advice to Senior Management
