I have been working at Chick-fil-A full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They've got good values and high standards. I would want my children to work for a company like this as their first job, but honestly I would not want them to work as an entry-level team member for more than a year.

    Cons

They tend to not notice performance and standards in their employees. Getting noticed is next to impossible and the managers set a questionable standard when they spend most of their time talking and texting.

I worked at Chick-fil-A full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Pleasant people to work with. Lunch and closing can be stressful but the people make it bearable.

    Cons

Upper management pretends to care about you but is obviously not genuine about it. They only care about profit, labor cost, and OE scores. Put off evaluations and promotions and raises as long as possible. Even after promising they will come "soon"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick to your promises. Reward those that deserve it.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Everyone is so friendly and do not get me wrong you will deal with people that will get the worst out of you but CFA is amazing. They care mostly about guest satisfaction and they will do anything just to work with you. With working at CFA, your managers and team members are not only there to be your managers and team members but also to be your friends!

    Cons

Just like any other restaurant it has it's really busy moments when everything gets crazy. It's a tiring job, regardless of what others think, it actually requires a lot from you.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The Chick Fil A 2,000 scholarship for $1,000.
The social mobility within the company.
    Flexible scheduling

    Cons

Office culture, religion plays too big of a role
You aren't allowed to feel bad, like if you had a bad experience you have to smile no matter what
Depending on the location, sexual harrassment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let people have their bad days, I am an imperfect person and I want to be allowed to express frustration behind closed doors without being privately reprimanded

I worked at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Working here was great, it was easy to learn how to do my job and the management was amazing. Everyone was kind and helped me out during my first few weeks while I was still getting the hang of things.

    Cons

It was always busy and sometimes it was hard to maintain the super pleasant attitude we were required to have and I worked more hours than I requested but it was a fairly pleasant work experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maybe train people at a different location than the store first.

I worked at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Greatly enjoyed working for this company. I learned how to provide excellent customer service in the most efficient way possible. They were extremely flexible with schedule as I played baseball in high school, but still gave me enough hours. I would recommend this job for high school students wanting to get a first job or college students as well. Overall great company to work for.

    Cons

If I had to say one con, the pay isn't the best. But at the same time if you consider the experience you are gaining, it definitely out weighs the pay.
