Pros
Value their people, encourage an entrepreneurial spirit.
Cons
Limited benefits package for hourly and management.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to innovate
Pros
Sundays off, great people to work with, and an all-around good experience to be a part of.
Cons
Not many pay increases. My operator would rather train new people than to keep older ones and pay them more.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to reward Team members, with salary increases and general bonuses.
Pros
The managers are willing to allow flexibility with your work schedule.
Cons
The income generated is fairly low.
Pros
The oportunity to grow with an Atlanta-based corporation and also their religious beliefs.
Cons
I work in one of the dwarf houses, so some of the expectations for what they want and what employees give maybe a little far fetch. As a new team member, I want to become a leader but feel a little uncomfortable of what the rest of the employees may think
Advice to Senior Management
If management wants to starts changing the employees to a higher standards, they must stop hiring people of does not fit the image Chick-fil-A wants.
Pros
The Management and way they treated everyone was incredible.
Cons
Smell like grease after work.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep it up.
Pros
Friendly and understanding co-workers and management.
Cons
A lot of bending over and carrying heavy stuff, but that's expected in any job really.
Pros
- You have Sundays off.
- Very flexible scheduling.
- Christian morals.
- Truett Cathy is great.
- Well-known company.
Cons
Extremely rare raises.
Favoritism in promotion.
Advice to Senior Management
Offer better pay for the perfection expected.
Pros
You will always have Sundays off
The majority of customers are kind
It is usually clean for the most part
Cons
It is ALWAYS crowded- to the point that nearly every day at lunch every seat is filled.
there is no room to work in the back
discouraging environment
Little advance on schedule
Advice to Senior Management
Take time to train employees before criticizing them
Be consistent with the hours you give. receiving 40 hours one week and 10 the next is very frustrating
Pros
Your experience will vary greatly depending on which location you work at. Since they have a good deal of autonomy, the Operator and GM will make or break your job experience. If you have a good operator, you'll be well paid, respected, have good training, and time off when you need it. Great for a part time job.
Cons
Like all jobs, management can really put a damper on your experience. I've worked at stores where the management was terrible and I had to deal with all kinds of unprofessional behavior. Everything from lying and back-stabbing to unfair disciplinary policies.
Pros
Chick-fil-A was always good about allowing people to work if they needed the hours. Very professional in the running of the restaurant.
Cons
Management never talked to regular team members about what was going on with the restaurant. Some managers would favor other team members.
