Current Employee – been working at Chick-fil-A part-time for more than a year
Pros – The company has great values, and in my experience I had managers who cared about the team members and made work enjoyable. Management also rewarded employees with raises around twice a year.
Cons – It can be a monotonous job, but so can any other job in the food business.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep running the business like the job titles suggest, like a team. That atmosphere makes the employees a lot more committed to the job and the culture that Chick-Fil-A hopes to reflect.

Former Employee – worked at Chick-fil-A part-time for more than a year
Pros – It was fun. I loved the people I worked for. There was always something to do so you were hardly ever bored.
Cons – You need to engage the customer and I'm not a very talkative person so that was hard for me.
Advice to Senior Management – A larger break area would be good.

Former Employee – worked at Chick-fil-A part-time for more than a year
Pros – Great for young kids starting out, opportunities to advance, work around schedule. Fast paced environment.
Cons – Micro managing is a big issue. Also, a lot of the time I felt like I was doing more work for minimum wage than was necessary. Also, our branch started putting people "On call" but without pay. However, I hardly feel it's necessary to put anyone on call for chicken...it's just chicken.
Advice to Senior Management – I don't think it's truly necessary to know every detail of what your employees are doing. Example, going to the bathroom, picking up something to throw it away, etc.

Cons – There aren't many downsides to working at Chick fil a. The only one I can think of is that there aren't fair opportunities to move up the scale.
