I have been working at Chick-fil-A

    Pros

Very flexible on schedules and hours. Management really cares about their employees. Friendly/family like workplace.

    Cons

It's fast food so you get those occasional annoying customers. Other than that there's no other cons.

I worked at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Chick-fil-A was very flexible in scheduling. I never wanted to work on Fridays or Saturdays and therefore was never scheduled for those days. I was also in high school, and I was never scheduled to work before 5 PM. The pay was minimum wage, but it's a fast food business, and that is expected.

    Cons

The work itself is boring, and since Chick-fil-A is so busy, you are constantly running around with only one break every 8 hours. Since it is busy however, you aren't just standing around all day.

    I worked at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours
training that applies everywhere (customer service)

    Cons

Tiring. You're on your feet the entire time and sometimes you won't get a break and six hours straight on your feet is just tiring.

    I worked at Chick-fil-A

    Pros

Awesome job and free food (at my CFA) every time I worked. My boss told me he always pays his employees more than min minimum wage, because he believes we are worth more than that. Just a wonderful, fun place to work.

    Cons

I really have nothing negative to say about CFA. I had a completely positive experience when working there.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A

    Pros

You make more than at your average fast food place, there's room to grow and everyone is very personable.

    Cons

If you don't know why you're there, you may get upset at a person's behavior and quit.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The team members here are excellent, and everyone is willing to go above and beyond to make each location remarkable. The workplace environment is encouraging, and the location is a great one for the franchise I work at. Your experience working here depends heavily on the owner and current managers, so definitely get to know your team before you hop on board!

    Cons

I don't think that there's any sort of con, aside from just needing to be flexible on the job, such as quickly moving from register to restocking to ice, and so forth, as well as being alright with heavy, sporadic surges at different times during the day. These things are with any job though, but at Chick-Fil-A they definitely try to make your transition an easy one.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would love to see breaks become scheduled, and also possibly assigning a "helper" each day that will sweep or clean the dining tables every 15-30 minutes, to keep the cleanliness and the ratings high.
