I have been working at Chick-fil-A

    Pros

They is a great company to work for based on their fundamental values and philosophies stated in their mission statement which are exemplified and integrated through all operational functions. They have a strong culture that creates a welcoming and comfortable environment to work with. The management is highly structured making it easy to demonstrate their philosophies for customer service, quality, and meeting standards for time efficiency.

    Cons

If you are unable to work in a fast paced environment without remaining poised and graceful under pressure this is not a job you would enjoy. Must be able to diversify yourself to handle adverse situations and disgruntle customers effectively.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling. Local workplace. Great group of co-workers.

    Cons

    True Leadership needed among managers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If each manager does their own thing there will be problems. Get on the same page ie, consistency. Managers need to lead instead of just managing. Lead by example. It may be a quick serve restaurant, but workers still need positive encouragement and development. Remember, YOU are only as good as your people.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

chickfila is a good place to work at because all the employees are very friendly. They also teach you good customer service skills that will help tremendously for getting other jobs. This is a good work environment, very safe, friendly, and just a happy place to work.

    Cons

They do not give raises much at all. You have to ask for a raise and most of the time you dont get it. you can be an excellent worker and do extra work and everything but it is still very hard to get raises and promotions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please consider raises for good workers especially when they have worked there a long time and have worked very hard.
