    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Knowledge of staff, flexibility of hours, opportunities given to learn and utilize skills, training encouraged and provided when available, very well organized and supportive atmosphere.

    Cons

Unpaid internship- but it is absolutely worth being unemployed for. I would continue to stay here for free if that were possible.

    Advice to Management

Having paid internship options is always lovely, but not possible in most places. I have had a tremendous experience learning from the staff who are all incredible at their jobs and different professional disciplines.

I have been working at Child Guidance Center full-time

    Pros

You have to use creativity and seek out learning to best help client. This is encouraged. They offer monthly training. You can also get supervision, and staff with co-workers.

    Cons

Work life balance, but depending on facility you may have half Fridays or no Fridays if out patient therapist. You have to be good at balancing paper work, demands of the client, and demands of agency.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more flexibility, and better communication.
