I have been working at Children's Hospital New Orleans full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The employees truly care for the patients.

    Cons

Recently took away a lot of benefits. Leaves employees with no incentive to stay. They expect more for less. Morale is low within the rank and file.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at the whole picture before making changes, consider how it will impact employees and over all morale. Include employees in decision that will affect them.

I have been working at Children's Hospital New Orleans

    Pros

I enjoy working with the people in my department -- that's why people stay.
I also enjoy working in pediatrics.

    Cons

It's almost as if the administrators at Children's want employees to have a bad experience, or even worse that they simply don't care at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. To do this you might actually have to leave your office, and might have to ask questions.
