Very Corporate

Waitress (Former Employee)
Plano, TX

I worked at Chili's part-time for less than a year

ProsIf you get good at your job you can be successful and maintain good relationships with staff and managers. Lots of oppurtunity for growth within company

ConsVery competitive environement, not a lot of individual effort but must make every little decision as a team. Manager rulling can be unsuportive and strict. Pay is not enough for the amount of effort put forth. Nitpicky.

Working towards becoming fast food

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Chili's full-time for more than 10 years

Prosdecent pay, understanding considerate in store management staff

Consweak training program, by cutting back starting wages greatly lowered quality of employees applying, the attempt to treat every employee as equal goes a bit too far, talking to a 2 week and a 10 year employee the same way is a bit ridiculous

Advice to Senior Managementdon't talk down to long term quality employees, up starting wages to stop getting fast food rejects, quit accepting and even encouraging mediocrity.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
