    I worked at Chili's full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

One of the best things working at Chili's is the teamwork! When you work with a good partner on the floor, your shift tends to run very smoothly. If you happen to get family orientated managers, then you've scored big time! They are more than willing to work around family!

    Cons

One of the things that I disliked the most: working with a weak team member. The trainer is your most trusted resource. A good trainer will not let you fail!! If you have a problem with your trainer, let management know.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management team I worked with was GREAT!! Every manager knew the importance of family!

    Pros

The corporate culture is great, and we all really care about each other and our guests!

    Cons

Sometimes I mess up an order, but if I own up to it then it's better for everyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rely on your instincts more than the quantitative data from the guest surveys. You guys rock!

I have been working at Chili's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Chili's takes you in like a family. Though there are new rollouts of food almost every month, the company helps notify servers and managers in a timely manner to get their staff ready for new items. Managers, for the most part, are great with helping your shift go smoothly and dealing with stressful situations. I have been an employee for almost 5 years while going to school and Chili's has always been flexible with my schedule. Chili's is like a new family and I highly recommend working here if you enjoy the service industry.

    Cons

Only con I can think of is the menu changes a lot, but that is about it.

    I worked at Chili's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This company was great to work for, the money for the work was great, I learned a lot really fast, they hired me without previous experience

    Cons

It is a customer service oriented job and every customer service job has to deal with bad customers at times.

    I worked at Chili's

    Pros

I really liked the people I worked with. Other companies don't do as good a job as Chilis at making it feel like a family

    Cons

When people are so close there can be problems. There were some personal problems that got in the way of work but not many

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wasn't a big fan of "team service"
