Summer Intern in China Everbright Limited in Hong Kong

    Summer Intern (Current Employee)
    Hong Kong (Hong Kong)

ProsI spent the summer in the Structured Financing and Investing Department. The job nature is close to a Private Equity company. The employees were traveling around the country. Sometimes I was the only one in the office. The department had a very friendly atmosphere. The employees were from different backgrounds, so there were a lot to learn from them.

ConsIt's not paid, and the computers need to be upgraded. Also the employees seemed to not trust me. They tried to protect some secrets of their investment plans. They told me the information might move the market.

Advice to Senior ManagementI think it's pretty good. Perhaps they should invest more on the IT devices.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

ProsYou can touch many real big cases there.

ConsWhat you can learn may be only part of the case and won't get a whole picture of it easily.
