    I worked at Christ Hospital

    Pros

Some of the people were decent to work with

    Cons

Hated working here got orientated by four different people each doing the job a different way. When I did the job the way the first person showed me was told I was doing it wrong. And the new person orientating me would go back to the manager and say I wasn't doing well in progressing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some organization in the way you orientate people. It doesn't help having people who don't know how to do their job trying to train others how to do a job, especially if they are all about cutting corners.

IT totally understaffed, and management doesn't know how to manage.

I have been working at Christ Hospital full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Lot's of different things to work on
The medical staff is actually pretty good to work with

    Cons

Since they got rid of the last managed service provider, they haven't hired any internal staff, and aren't replacing people when they leave. We are 1 -2 resignations from total disaster. Salaries are high, but with so few people to do so much, operating in Hero Mode constantly burns people out.
This mouse is getting off the boat before it sinks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend some money on hiring people and not just new initiatives that have no one to run them.

    Pros

Nice patients good ice the air is always on. Other than that there aren't any really good pros to this job well the benefits.

    Cons

Nurses are lazy. They complain management is a joke. They don't work around your school schedule no one cares about how hard your struggling with school or if you can make it in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The attendance policy is a joke. It shouldn't matter. The points system is stupid

I have been working at Christ Hospital part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

I like my manager and the flexibility they provide with me being in nursing school. They are also usually pretty great with handling requests off for vacation or school.

    Cons

Having to take 24 hours of on-call per schedule kind of stinks, but I hardy ever actually get called in! It is hard work, but I will be graduating this December and hopefully moving on to bigger and better things!

I worked at Christ Hospital full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

It was very good in helping patience in their physical and mental health. Also offered resources and help for the homeless and those with drug addiction.

    Cons

Company was unable to offer the staff incentives and increased salary. Only available to the physicians.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incentives should be given to the dedicated hard workers. Plans should be made in finding ways to increase the employees salary.

I worked at Christ Hospital full-time

    Pros

Nice employees who work well together

    Cons

    Very low salaries
    No retirement contribution
Spending too much money on new projects
High turnover due to above reasons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to your staff retention rates. Stop spending so much money to have the newest everything and start compensating your staff fairly. The turnover is extremely high lately. Christ used to be the best and it is going downhill.
