I have been working at Ciber full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Solid effort on the part of leadership to move Ciber toward solvency and predictable performance. More discipline has been added over the last year to manage performance. Holds staff accountable to hit goals and deliver.
Cons – Management style if very old school - motivational speeches are based on damnation and threats. Senior leaders are generally invisible to the staff outside of Denver. If you don't work in Denver you don't exist except when the numbers roll up - if you don't hit your number you're gone.
Advice to Senior Management – The good-old-boy leadership style (not DaveP) is old school. Get rid of the 'old-school' senior leaders and dead weight VPs (there ain't much strategic business development going on from where I sit). Need to hire senior leaders who know who to motivate and communicate.

I have been working at Ciber full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Prior to being run nationally, the Consultants were long-time employees and very competent, motivating bonus plan, strong management.
Cons – Now there is no employee loyalty. It is all about billing more hours, the bonus plan is a joke, very top heavy management
Advice to Senior Management – You are too focused on upper management. The consultants are dealing with your customers everyday, yet you show little respect for those consultants,

I have been working at Ciber full-time for more than a year
Pros – Teaches you what NOT to do if you want to be successful.
Cons – Still run as a staffing company - hire to fire, VP level management and above only care about one thing - the stock price because that's how they are compensated. Smoke and mirrors - No company growth.
Advice to Senior Management – Flatten yourself out. Get rid of dead wood. Do something for the employees.

I worked at Ciber
Pros – Good Clients to work for.
Cons – Almost everyone in the administrative role whom I interacted with were freakishly slow to respond to you.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect other peoples time and their commitment while working for you. Please have an SLA for people to respond to voice mails or emails. If internal employees are not treated with care, what can one expect for outside world (prospective employee or client).

Pros – Great people; fun to work with.
Cons – Management is too reactionary and not strategic or visionary.
Advice to Senior Management – Create strategic plans based on more than 3 months into the future, and don't let the last month change your strategy.

I worked at Ciber full-time
Pros – Streamlining company to core businesses
Decent benefits
Some people still professional in a company of amateurs
Cons – Non-existent management
Friendly but ineffectual H/R
All talk, little to no action
For a company this size, their insurance is sub-par
Advice to Senior Management – Hold middle managers accountable for poor performance.
Solicit feedback from all.

I worked at Ciber full-time for more than a year
Pros – Benefits were ok and some of the co-workers were great.
Cons – Management doesn't care about their employees. Just looking to fill a spot on a project. Not a good company if you are looking for longevity in your career. HR Department is terrible. No room for advancement.
Advice to Senior Management – Care about your employees
