    Abbreviated but very educational

    Consultant (Former Employee)
    Durham, NC

ProsLearning the computer system; working with seasoned professionals; great cafeteria; comfortable work-station; dedicated professionals made available to resolve any difficulties on the job.

ConsThe daily commute (80 mi-one way) from eastern NC to Durham NC proved challenging.

    Not many options to grow

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Pros1. No interference with your work at client location
    2. Lot of training online opportunities.

Cons1. No Salary hike since 5 years, after 5 years it was only 0.45 cents per hour.
    2. Career growth is null. You are stuck in the deep water.
    3. Hilarious EPRs. Manager does not know what you are doing, he has some ratings in his mind. He says you are doing great in your job , but you cannot take more than this rating. This is common voice across all the assesses.

Advice to Senior ManagementUpper management should know the employees potential and get them involved in company activities. Also should them get evaluate 360 degree assessment of the manager. Unless involving employees , it will be very frustrating place to work.

    Bait and Switch

    Consultant (Current Employee)
    Seattle, WA

ProsCommute. The distance to the client site is manageable.

ConsLack of response from the delivery management team. HR forgot what the H represents. Too many layers between those who are doing the work and those who are making the decisions.

Advice to Senior ManagementHonesty is always the best policy. It isn't the people at corporate or the branch offices that are contributing to the bottom line, it is those people who are onsite doing the day-to-day delivery who should be rewarded. Insist that management treat every resource with respect. Respect your employees, rather than ignoring them and hoping they will go away.

A staffing organization trying to be a consulting firm

    Associate Consultant (Former Employee)
    Pittsburgh, PA

ProsThe first interview was over skype which was great since I was looking for jobs in a different city. The hiring process was fast and painless.

ConsSince they were going through a reorganization and a shift in focus, they couldn't really pay attention to the consultants. Lack of direction, involvement and motivation from managers

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of your employees. You have a very high turnover rate and no clear career paths
