Great company to work for. HR always friendly and quick to respond to any question or provide necessary direction if needed. HR plays an active role in job placement when current position comes to an end.

    Cons

I was actually not able to locate a new position when my project completed, however CIBER did play a very active role trying to assist me in doing so.

I have been working at Ciber (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You can hide and due to the dysfunctionality nobody will know. My manager fights for me although is not empowered.

    Cons

The executive communication is hypocritical at best and management constantly debates and fights about individual understanding of executive plans. No process or model is defined and it is a shoot from the hip management style. Company rifs 2x a year instead of focusing on growth and getting rid of sales people that aren't selling. No career growth for consulting and all internal money goes to T-Mobile and Disney.

    Advice to Management

define a model and try to keep this CEO long enough to see if the latest change even works before doing it all over again. Write down what you want and send it to every employee.

I have been working at Ciber full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've been with Ciber for two-years now and it has been a great experience. Lots of flexibility and lots of opportunity. Great managers that look after their folks.

    Cons

The benefits for the company are mediocre at best; but probably on par for a company their size. Still a lot of areas where they are maturing and need to improve their processes, but overall the leadership at all levels is trying hard to do the right things.

    Advice to Management

Sr Leadership: be more transparent about changes / impacts on the workforce; improve the compensation / bonus method. LOB Mgrs. Keep doing what you are doing, staying out front and looking out for your folks.
