    Pros

Great place to move up. Make it known that you want to move up and as long as you are performing or get in with the right people you will be given the opportunity.

    Cons

Sounds weird to say about a 100+ year old company, but with current leadership, I'm not certain they don't plan to sell off more parts of the business.

    Pros

Can make up to $100K a year with 50-60 work hours a week.

    Cons

Expected to work 6 days a week. Company will call for meetings with less than 24 hour notice. Management are all comparable to used car salesmen.

    Advice to Management

Keep promises you make to employees.

    Pros

well compensated? good location? i'm reaching here...

    Cons

    -poor communication
    -very silo'd
-promotions are based on time served, not merit, which leads to incompetent/unqualified people in a number of positions
    -very "old boys club" feel
    -untrustworthy management
    -no accountability
-no processes/procedures. the ones that are in place are not followed

    Advice to Management

change the culture. don't just talk about it, do it. get rid of people who refuse to change. you're $2 billion in debt. start acting like it.

    Pros

Downtown location is the only pro

    Cons

    -Nepotism is rampant
    -Pay increases are not consistent
    -Management is weak and unorganized
-There is a serious lack of communication
    -Limited opportunity for career advancement
-Management is very top heavy, too many Director's and VP's for a company of its size

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting people just because they have seniority, don't be afraid to eliminate non performers no matter how ling they have been here, if you talk about change actually follow through on it, hire people because they are qualified not because they share the same last name with an executive. For a company who is billions in debt and has a lot of competition (Google fiber, Time Warner, Direct TV) stop wasting money on useless things like new cubicles and a severely top heavy management team.

    Pros

Hard working employees, focused on providing good customer service. Competitive compensation, vacation, benefits.

    Cons

Core company is treading water in a very competitive market. Key assets and the best opportunities for growth and profit were spun off to Cyrus One along with considerable investment, but with limited benefits to core company shareholders or employees. The remaining company may find it difficult to continue to adequately invest in network maintenance and technology. Limited gender and racial diversity, many management positions appear to be filled based on good-old-boy connections.

  9. Great pay, have to deal with a lot of politics with it being a smaller company

    Pros

They're making a lot of changes to make the company more competitive and life better for the employees.

    Cons

The changes are for the best of the company, and have a great strategic vision driving them. But as a regular employee it causes worry for job security, as well as constantly changing roles. Also, politics within the company are pretty intense.

    Advice to Management

Cut through some of the politics and do the right thing. Empower the employees who are trying to do that
