Pros – Get to work from home, great for independence, very little micro-management, easy to work with, company likes to pay claims.

Cons – Sometimes agents are difficult to deal with.

Pros – Some of the people that I worked with through out the years were very nice.

Cons – The last several years, the company has changed and not for the best. Employees were no longer valued for what they contributed to the company. Mr Schiff - one of the founding owners would be disappointed to see how his company treats the employees that he had respect for and loyalty to.

Advice to Senior Management – Be very careful of the people that are promoted to team leaders.

Pros – A family-oriented company with many longstanding employees. Solid and well-respected within the insurance industry. A large company but not too large that it is overwhelming.

Cons – Very male-dominated. Not progressive. It is different working in the field than at headquarters. More freedom and autonomy in the field.

Advice to Senior Management – The company is good to its employees and takes good care of them through the benefits and providing annual company meetings and employee appreciation events.
