    I worked at Cintas

    Pros

Four day work week and no set end time. When you finish your route or duties you are free to go.

    Cons

Some leadership lacked accountability and left you out to dry at certain points. You had to fend for your self at different points to get by

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more involved instead behind a desk. Take pride in your workers who ultimately make you look good and contribute to your bonus. Worry more about respect and employees then numbers

    Pros

management is very helpful and they try hard to give us good working conditions. pay is good if you work. benefits are cheap and the partner perks program is good. i like my coworkers and the room for opportunity

    Cons

management struggles to keep up with work load but they never give up. they have parties for us every month and try to tell us about what's going on in the location

    Pros

Outstanding training, team events, cultural immersion in to Fortune 500 behaviors and best practices. The do's and don't here will set you up for success anywhere.

    Cons

Super strict, however, so is the Navy SEALS. Do you want to be the best? I think there are cons here but looking back if I can't remember them they weren't serious.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back the residual base salary increases based on previous years sales figures. It will increase employee retention and it's ethically correct. Cintas shouldn't pocket "for life" after a few hundred dollar payout on a 5 year contract.

I have been working at Cintas full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Cintas takes it's culture very serious along with safety priority number one, while being a very ethical company. We all are very supportive of each other. There's so many opportunities to make money in the SSR position.

    Cons

All service management partners should run a route for at least six months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Support awesome... Pay awesome... Training awesome...The negative is, don't let new partners come aboard and try and manage us without experience. Its degrading

I have been working at Cintas full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

4 Day work weeks. Never weekends. Avg. of 38 hrs a week. You control how much $$ you want to make with the commissions and bonus / direct sales package. Awesome benefits that are cheap due to the company being so big.

    Cons

There is a lot of physical and dirty labor involved. You are working with dirty laundry and soiled towels and mats. It is hot and can get very tiring in the summer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't micro manage so much. Leadership needs to go out on route more often with the drivers to see what is happening out there in the field. Also; take the time to get to know the drivers and see what makes them tick. Don't forget to goodwill the huge accts; so when renewal time comes up they know who you are!!
