    Pros

Stress free work environment. Deadlines are easily made and there will be time that you can work on side/internal projects that are more rewarding that the client's work.

    Cons

The level of experience and skill needs to increase.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

    Pros

If you know McAfee products or are ex-McAfee, a great place to work to further hands-on with customers and projects in real-world environments. Allowed to grow and learn freely. Management team very supportive of new things you want to learn, and willing to work with you on career growth. If you want to travel and see a different client every week, and have a few longer term engagements thrown in, this is a great place to work.

    Cons

Sales team is not as seasoned as other companies or consulting firms. A large % of revenue comes from McAfee leads (Ciphent is really just McAfee consulting, they know more than McAfee employees for the most part). Travel is 100% and you will be utilized very highly, with few chances for bench time.

    Advice to Management

The leadership team is strong and respected, but figure out a true sales strategy and other lines of business besides just McAfee consulting work. Are you a consultancy or a reseller or something else?

    Pros

flexibile work day as long as tasks are completed, independence to get the job done on your own, strong partner relationship with leading security vendor

    Cons

poor communication from the management and executive team, over promise and under deliver mentality is encouraged, sales strategy lacks direction and maturity, questionable ethics, very difficult to get an honest answer from management and executive team

    Advice to Management

practice reciprocity, under promise and over deliver, improve communication by being upfront and honest and prompt, set expectations early and follow through
