    Pros

They have stores in most parts of the country and you can therefore relocate if need be.

    Cons

There's a lot work which the majority of employees do not mind doing; however employees are not compensated to the industry standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To revisit pay for employees at all levels to industry standard.

I worked at Circle K full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Very fun and fast paced, always have something to do, and being able to interact and socialize with customers.

    Cons

Replacing the empty soda bibs (bag-in-box). The 5-gallon boxes of soda are at least 50 pounds, and are not that easy to carry or lift. For the most part its not that bad replacing them, when the shelves are close to waist level. But some of the shelves are at shoulder level or even higher, it gets complicated.

I worked at Circle K full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Pros are you have a close relationship with yoir staff and it is easy to get upper management involved. Their is plenty of advancement from cashier to manager. The manager pay is okay if all you work is 40-45 hours a week

    Cons

Being called at all times of day and nigh. And having to go to work when the shift person never showed up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management need to come up with ways that can help the managers live a more balanced life so they don't have to drop everything as soon as a cashier feel they don't want to work today

Current Employee - Assistant Store Manager in Orlando, FL
Current Employee - Assistant Store Manager in Orlando, FL

I have been working at Circle K full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Being full time gives you 2 weeks paid vacation, holiday pay, and a set schedule.

    Cons

Region managers rotate your district managers every 2-3 months. They believe 1 to 2 employees can handle 1500 customers in a days time, while you clean, stock, count cig inventory, and be perfect in cash handling, lotto printing, and setting up pumps. I once said I wouldnt recommend this job to my worse enemy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should go have more employees during shifts to take care of more customers. You limit yourself to bad quality looking stores to have the lowest payroll amount. Thats just bad business. CEO stop being cheap!!!
