    Pros

    Great location and group of people with lots of potential.

    Cons

    Lack of communication at all levels of management. Really unclear about the future which results in extreme turnover. Customers always wondering if the same person will be picking up the phone.

    Pros

    High pay. great people temescal site only

    Cons

    Management is never wrong in their heads. They always think they have the solution but just dig deeper into a hole, and blame the last managers for company mistakes Every one follows the rules and procedures unless is the last week of the month and they need to ship for the profit aspect. They make new hires work temp for a year saying they have a hiring freeze but hire overhead inventing titles just to open spots

    Advice to Management

    Don't just collect your bonus and see CIRCOR like a stepping stone in your career

    Pros

    Good incentives to improve knowledge base. Company genuinely "seeks" ways to improve all aspects of business practices, with a positive atmosphere.

    Cons

    Lack of accountability at mid-management level, not pro-active (through 2013) at the senior level. Work standards are very poor at the least, and sometimes non-existent. Major effort is put into Kaisen events, only to ignore most of the suggested changes / corrections. Employee performance is evaluated on personal levels, disregarding any inefficiencies in the job procedures. The apparent "theme" when results expectations are not what they should be, is to point the finger at subordinates and say, "It's their fault", then wait for the next "downsizing" to kick them out.

    Advice to Management

    Do your jobs. Collecting a salary while seeing how long you can "stay under the radar", is a cop-out, and should not be tolerated by upper management / shareholders.

    Pros

    Work was seamless.Great People to work with.Focus on meeting production standards and their was no pressure. Pizza...Pizza...Pizza!...umm.

    Cons

    If you have a big heart and wear your emotions on your sleeve...this place will chew you up and spit you out.

    Your Faces will turn to Alabaster...when you find your Servants are your Masters.

    Very clean working environment Relationships with other employees

    Little opportunity to advance Employee morale is not important

    Please listen to your employees. They know more than you think and have positive ideas. Allow them to be heard without being made to feel inferior.

    Small staff, laid-back environment, flexible schedule

    Cons

    Bad upper management, little to no training, bad communication, high employee (including management) turnover rate.

    Give proper training to employees, pay higher salaries, hire temps

    Pros

    Found that most employees were great to work with

    Cons

    Management does not care about how much time employees have put into company, they only look at bottom line. If they lay you off, don't even look to see if you can be moved to another place in company. Know first had they just let you go.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to be more in tune with their employees. They just drop the ball when it comes to understanding what can help to improve.

    I worked at Circor Aerospace full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    The people (peers) are great to work with. They offer tuition reimbursement. The only other positive is the location. Not a lot of big aerospace companies in the IE.

    Cons

    Hire from outside, no promotion from within, poor review process, no raises, biased pro-management HR. People with the most experience in the department get the lowest pay. Management doesn't listen to the people.

    Advice to Management

    Take the time and effort to invest in your most valuable asset and develop your people so they can be promoted within. How can you create loyalty from your employees if you are not loyal to them? The employees have low morale because management keeps bailing out on them. No one sticks around long enough to make a positive difference. They are all out to beef up their LinkedIn profiles.

    Pros

    They make a great product. Lots of potential. Lots of great people trying to keep it going.

    Cons

    No management direction. Management changes their direction every week trying bail a sinking ship. The have no cohesive plan and are very reactive. People who have worked there for years and been promoted to management are not will to listen to advice from more experienced people and consultants. Lots of layoffs due to loss of satisfied customers.

    Advice to Management

    Corporate needs to clean house and get people in management who actually know how to run an aerospace company. Get rid of deadwood and hire some people with management training eh know how to treat the workers with respect.
