They offered a good job during school with part time or full time flexibility. There were some cool people there too.

Cons

The upper management decided to not close any stores in the US for like 10 years, so they went out of business.

The management should have closed some poor performing stores so that the good stores that met quotas and were profitable could have stayed open.

Employee discount was the best part of the job. I really liked working with all the different technologies and emerging technologies

management was horrible made everyday horrible. they never coached trained or helped us out. I will never recomend this company to anyone.

Very friendly environment with a relatively nice starting pay rate. Managers were very understanding with problems and treated you fairly .

Some of the downfalls were the amount of advancement opportunities at my store in particular seemed limited. Also would have liked to see more monthly meetings

Circuit city was on of the best places to work. The staff was awesome and friendly which made it very easy to work.

All electronic stores are very competitive. There are alot of tasks to get done as a tech but the environment helps you.

My advice would to make circuit city stay open longer than it did. It was a great electronic store that went under due to the economy

Need to communicate better from top down and value the work done by the employees. Workers at the bottom being in all of the money and should not get punished because of poor choices made by all of the corporate silky suits.
