Pros
Overall great team spirit, result oriented flexible hours usually, professional environment of respect and trust, mobile working opportunities, reasonable benefits
Cons
some teams are bounded by the old working from office mindset than the coporate mobile work culture; also not too many functions and job roles available within HK office. Also some started behaving in a more bureaucratic manner
Advice to Senior Management
Some teams are starting to deviate from some important Cisco culture such as results driven, respect, collaboration, fun to becoming very political and bureaucratic. Hope to have some sort of Corporate culture pulse check team to keep teams on track.
Pros
They provide a very flexible working environment
Cons
Company is now less innovative nowadays, and the business is highly partners-led.
Pros
Many learning opportunities for fresh grads.
Cons
After about two years on the same position, you will have learned everything there's to learn for your position. Moving up the management ladder is almost impossible.
Advice to Senior Management
Start treating your workers with respect. We are sick of working OT without pay.
Pros
Strong and professional Sales leadership, overall a culture of respect, some good events and things here and there
Cons
no work-life balance, career dead end in some teams with unprofessional managers, limited internal job roles within, extremely difficult to get promotion, perks and benefits diminishing, some teams don't allow working from home with many multiple micro-management tactics, more and more political and bureaucratic, employee are getting more risk averse to take risks
Advice to Senior Management
Pls pay attentions to all the strong signals of room to improve via past pulse survey results, more and more good people are leaving this company
Pros
The ability to move within the company, the great team we have, the industry respect and how proud we are to say we work at Cisco!
Cons
work/life balance management and the constant travel
Advice to Senior Management
Provide work/life balance training to the employees.
