    Pros

Note: This is about Cisco Video Technologies.
It was OK before Cisco acquisition at least in terms of the limited technology they work on.
It had the charm of a 'small' company before.

    Cons

Note: This is about Cisco Video Technologies.
    1. Heavy Politics, favoritism.
    2. Enormous number of managers , some managers have merely 1 or 2 direct reporting employee!
    3. After Cisco acquisition, Nds (D)Managers are struggling to keep their positions.
    4. Bonus/company Share and other perks for only if you are in a "well connected " loop , ie if you are your managers favorite.
    5. Initial employees who played dirty politics during NDS days and who was having NDS EMP_No < 200 became managers. Don't expect any etiquette not managerial skills from them.
    6. LayOffs
    7. Good that Cisco removed Bell Curve. This tool was used by Nds managers as a means to give big hike only to managers favorites.
    8. Work wise, you will be doing repetitive work.
    9. If you are in Manual QC job, this is going to be their end of career. (Play with TV and remote)
    10. Basically after Cisco acquisition, Managers are feeling the heat, they are brutally exposed of their incompetence.

    Many More....

    Advice to Management

    What is the point.

    Pros

Exceptionally good work life balance! Although it mostly depends on your boss, you'll be most probably not judged for WFHs and leaves if you do your work properly.
Compensation is according to industry standards.
    Very Nice office in Banaglore

    Cons

Growth is not terrible but it's not too good when compared to a few others. Also it get really difficult to align to company strategy as we find a new buzz word every month and run around it.

    Advice to Management

You guys need to be VERY VERY clear in your goals, and don't change them every month! Also, you should look into the frequent re orgs happening.
