    Pros

    A very good work life.
    Company cares for its employees.

    Cons

Cisco is acquiring many companies and at the same time there sales is going down in few areas because of competition by others companies.
Its going through lot of changes.

I have been working at Cisco Systems India full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Biggest reason : Work-Life Balance
Training & Development opportunities improved after I reported to an American manager. While I reported to an Indian Manager, minimal personal development opportunities. Guess, it is a regional bias but Indian Managers try to show more savings everywhere.

    Cons

Lay-offs for past 4 years, discrimination to some extent. In my function, Indians are not heard much. Decisions are all made in USA and we have to adhere to them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cisco speaks a lot about Inclusion & Diversity in All-Hands and other forums but they don't follow. Agreed it is a USA firm but the game-changer today is to be more inclusive than ever before - in reality and not just on papers.
