Pros – Diverse company with abundance of lateral and vertical opportunities; overseas opportunities if you desire; decent pay scale comparing to similar financial service companies; good work life balance.

Cons – matrix organization created by inefficient centers of "excellence". Bureaucratic in many areas that creates unnecessary work; Lack of true vision from senior management, more block and tackling and passive reactions. Poor presentation skills throughout, very common to see powerpoint presentation as simple as Excel Copy and paste. way too much restrictions caused partially by regulations, employees are scared of saying what they think.

Advice to Senior Management – need to strengthen talent base and grow leaner

Pros – Good benefits, decent pay, decent vacation policy, work life balance is respected, some really good people running the company at the top

Cons – Promotions are given based on favoritism, communication among departments is horrendous, communication from your own manager about what is happening currently in the organization is almost non-existent

Advice to Senior Management – Management should listen to employees, and really take their opinions into consideration. If you say "people are our most important attribute", then your people should be treated in a way that they know you mean it.
