Current Employee – been working at Citi full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Not many left. There used to be some respect and team atmosphere. Some of the buildings are ok. All I can really think of as a solid positive is probably having Citi on your resume might open doors for you else where.
Cons – Intensely political, meaning that who you know matters far more than anything else. Game playing management tactics abound. If you are not playing golf and loosing to the boss in the right way they'll manage you out.
Not many people are fired, management will have a lot of fun managing you out. There is so much deadwood due to political promotions, the buddy system and sheer machinations that there are very few competent enough to do the work. If you are demonstrating you know your job and are willing to go the extra mile then woe to you. Essentially what happens is all the work that should have been done by favorites will be loaded onto you. They set you up to fail. They will joke about you in management meetings. "that fool, that looser"
How do you survive? Fit in. Find out immediately what your department managers are like. If you are a xerox copy of them, maybe you'll be invited into the club. You'll get 1's and 2's no matter what. Ramble on in endless sentences in the interminable meetings. Ape the speech patterns of the bosses.
Basically the culture is hard core Brooklyn NYC: antagonistic, cut throat, devious and full of power games. It's street hustling, machiavellian types that get ahead. If you are professional, forget it. This is a filthy knife fight in the streets. Departments are rival gangs. It all comes down to fists.
The little people by and large are nice. They don't get promoted. They don't fit in. Don't be nice. Don't play by the rules. It's better to drive the work than do the work. That's what's valued. The work is nothing. Talk loud and interrupt others. Be unpredictable. Make the work harder and criticize everyone and everything below you. Make your coworkers look like fools. Humiliate, denigrate, subvert, undermine. Suck up to those above you.

Former Employee – worked at Citi full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – This is one of the best places to learn about banking and financial industry. The company has inculcated a great culture of sharing information amongst its rank and file. People are always ready to help. Plus, being global organization helps if you would want to relocate and take on new challenges.
Cons – I found too much of outsourcing of technology and processing to third party companies, perhaps raising risks for the company.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good work.

Current Employee – been working at Citi for more than a year
Pros – I have not found any pros working here for Citi Group, I would rather be unemployed.
Cons – It's not ethnic diversified. The India employee's do not speak to other ethnic employee's. Even if your in the same department. No other copy I have worked from have I been treated this way.

Pros – Alternate Work Strategies - very good work-life balance. The Company also has a good Internal Mobility program that enables employees to seek out openings in other areas, thus retaining talent.
Cons – Large size of the organization inhibits flexibility: Also, not renowned for being good pay-masters. Culture is not very conducive to innovation.

Current Employee – been working at Citi full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – They were great with Work-Life balance, and they were very flexible with all employees. Working from home was frequently an option if you had a conflict or bad weather, and work hours were very reasonable 95% of the time.
Cons – Their pay is more than a 10% cut from the market rate, and raises have been less than cost of living over past 4 years. They don't make it easy to move internally, and their hiring process leaves much to be desired.
Advice to Senior Management – If you want to attract and retain top talent, you need to pay for it! Don't look to save money by cutting out coffee and water coolers, it only makes it less desirable to work there!
