I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very thorough training, encouraged to spend time at work on learning
Candid and straightforward HR policies, fair and no drama
Lots of time off, 3 weeks personal, 10 holidays, plus sick-time as needed
Plentiful movement opportunities within the company
    Professional, mature co-workers

    Cons

Other than the high 401k contribution, benefits are lack-luster for such a large company
Large disconnect from IT and operations, technology improvements are few and unimpressive

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There needs to be more "embedded" IT and MIS positions throughout departments. Reaching out to large off-site development teams for system improvements are prohibitively expensive, take too long, and lack the polish common in todays applications. There also needs to be more communication between the existing IT and MIS developers, many systems and resources are underutilized.

Salaries are great and the clients you work with are superb. Bonuses are good and your daily life is not that affected because of work

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Salaries are good, Office Culture one of the better ones, good flexibility of work including no in and out times etc.

    Cons

Very aggressive organization, work is not as diversified as consultancies, low on travelling - so not good for people who look for that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should be a more meritocratic organization - neutral teams should be set up to gauge excellence at all levels so that rewards are less based on opinions and perceptions of a few people alone.
