    Pros

Good Benefits, Competitive Salary, Nice commute if you live in west suburbs of Chicago.

    Cons

Indians hire only Indians. Chinese hire only Chinese. Good luck to white males unless you know someone.

    Advice to Management

Excellent leaders in the company on both ends. The middle is where the company stagnates.

    Pros

Assess to different product lines, full of interesting problems to solve

    Cons

Inefficient, most of the time quite political as you can expect from a large company, frequent "cost saving" measures, legal and regulation stuff slows everything down and yet every time there will be someone going rogue to sink the ship - I think it's a culture thing, and the problem is there is no culture

    Pros

Good benefits, smart people, passionate about their work

    Cons

It's a bank. It's not always the people who deserve a promotion who get one. You usually have to be on your way out for them to try to get you to stay.

    Pros

Good culture, depending on group. They have a lot of career growth opportunities, and strongly encourage internal mobility.

    Cons

Things take a while to materialize, and salary isn't as great as competitors, by level.

    Advice to Management

If the pay isn't suffice, perhaps work/ life balance is a good area of development, to help retain employees.

    Pros

Global corporation with lots of opportunity for movement and various career experience. Internal mobility is encouraged. Always very good people to work with.

    Cons

Work Life balance in some positions is difficult. Compensation/Bonus structure has worsened over the years but expectations for going above and beyond have only gotten higher. Being rewarded for the work you do is a challenge in the appraisal/performance structure.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to reward employees for hard work even if not monetary.

    Pros

Great learning experience. Team work, excellent! Share an learn with peers from all over the globe. Great benefits.

    Cons

Pay is not bat, but somewhat below avg. A contractor doing what you do, most likely ears about 10% more than you.

    Advice to Management

If you said you will focuse in the company core values (which are great) do it! Don just shout them at motivational speeches.

    Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to move around when you're in. Working from home has been a hot topic with back and forth stances throughout the recent years. At this point, it is at manager's discretion and haven't had a problem with the occasional one/two days a week as needed. Training budget is available for some people in IT departments, so there are development opportunities. There was a push to get more women into IT a few years ago and the ratios have improved.

    Cons

Lots of lay offs. The bell curve for end of year performance ratings will unnecessarily cause some people to draw the short straw. The culture is improving, but not quick enough. Ethics have been a major concern with the company lately.

    Advice to Management

There's only so many dollars you can save before you start hurting yourself. Self mutilation.

    Pros

Great benefits, and depending on location and job, salary is fairly competitive.

    Cons

Outside of east coast, upward mobility is limited.

    Advice to Management

Stop oversimplifying everything outside your comfort zone and knowledge base. Endless cycles of turnover outside Manhattan and Lomg Island City means continued turnover in those places as well when the same problems remain unresolved.
