I worked at CitiFinancial Auto full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Supportive & friendly co-workers-- worked for Citi in two different states Culture of cooperation Tuition reimbursement Input for efficiency/improvement was welcomed by management

    Cons

Laid off Corporate management did not retain high performing centers, made decisions based upon geography

    Advice to Management

Retain high performers, put more effort into finding new positions for those employees (especially those that have given nearly their entire careers to Citi) without relocating them.

    Pros

Very good place to work. I loved the people, the compensation, the bonuses were amazing.

    Cons

I did not like the work I did. I do not have the personality of a collector. I am very nice and sensitive. The only reason I lasted so long here was because of the great people, work environment, compensation, bonuses, and benefits.

    Advice to Management

None. They were all great and treated everyone fairly! I do miss them!

  6. Decent, but look elsewhere first.

    Pros

It is usually a stable company, but as of late it has not been so much. So, the reasons are going away fast. There is generally a comfortable work environment, lunch room in the building and mandatory breaks and lunches, which you do not get in a lot of companies. I would say citi is a good place to work for, but I would also look in other areas.

    Cons

Chances for layoff, poor potential to move up. Often poor management due to the size of the company. A lot of unhappy employees due to reasons I stated above. Salary could be better and more on par with other companies.

    Advice to Management

To pay more attention to what staff have to say, and consider everyone when promoting. Never promote someone when the interview process hasn't been completed.
