Pros
There is some hope that they may be changed after Merge with ING
Cons
too many hourly paid workers than fixed yearly salary promotes the waste of time in producing the real result.
Be aware that the actual hourly rate went way down after merge with ING.
Be careful in conversation with those who survived there a long time since they want the same way be kept forever in their comfort zone.
Advice to Senior Management
Verifying the real pay towards the hourly salaried, then change the pay to fixed one matching a little higher total than the total that they get with sum of overtime. Those would promote the real efficiency, the real result in job, and work-life balance
Pros
The benefits package wasn't bad, but still not the best for a company that makes the amount of money they make.
The location is about the only thing that was a good reason.
Cons
Management of Corporate Finance sucks. Especially, as an a management accountant coming in with a few years of experience, the controller and leader supervisors are not there to help get the job done. They are chauvanistic and completely condesending. It's a male dominated environment and is not a place for women to prosper.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the needs of your employees .
Do not promote non-experienced imature individuals to management.
Put a stop to the office politics that take away from the company core standards.
Pros
A lot of the people (worker bees) make it a nice place to work
Cons
Lack of communication from management and no camaraderie with them at all.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop being so selfish and show real appreciation and give more than menial pay raises to the people that support senior management.
Pros
There are no good reasons to work here unless you are the CEO
Cons
Mostly everything is a downside to working at CitiStreet.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide more competitive pay and benefits. Provide better training and ways to grow within the company.
Pros
enough time to learn other soft skills since job itself is slowly moving, so people for a first job will have more time to figure it out how things are actually done in company
Cons
seniority over ability for a promotion opportunity
Advice to Senior Management
See the hard truth! while promoting by seniority, all capable people are leaving from company and only incapable people who could have not gotten any offer from other companies are staying (but still looking)
