I have been working at Citibank full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent cache on your resume. Terrific experience. Good pay, excellent benefits. Flexible working conditions. Opportunities for personal and professional growth. The people in our office developed a unique bond, despite working in different businesses. The people are friendly. Managers and peers seemed genuinely interested in me, both personally and professionally. The time off policies, health and welfare benefits, and related policies are second to none.

    Cons

Shrinking office space. Miserly T&E policies, some of which make zero sense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus less on expenses and more on revenue and productivity.

I have been working at Citibank full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The work life balance can be good in some groups, but not all. Overall, great place to start a career build a good reputation and then move around. Started as a BA and promoted to svp through several strategic career moves within the firm. Benefits are good, and with the right team, you can have a very supportive and engaging team to work with

    Cons

Very bureaucratic and s[low moving. programs take a long time to move through, with lots of layers to move through

I have been working at Citibank full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

It is a decent company, ok training, not bad money. People are also decent, nice environment. Benefits are good but still very expensive.

    Cons

Understaffed company. Leaders are too busy trying to fix problems and are not aware of the need for better training and support for new staff. Parking lot always full. Need more parking space.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Compensation needs to be better if you are understaffed.

I have been working at Citibank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Citi offers possibilities for international mobility as well as interesting projects. Most colleagues are very nice, I've made a lot of great friends. Decent work/life balance.

    Cons

Decisions are dictated by management ego rather than what's best for the client. Internal politics play a huge part in what does/doesn't get done. There is zero employee development and no reward for hard work or meeting goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create transparency so the people rewarded are the ones actually doing the work, not the ones doing nothing but talking about themselves

    Neutral Outlook
