big name, relatively safe even in downturn or financial crisis, very clear career path, good platform for graduates, good start point

long working hours, high risky industry, no personal life, very strict hierarchy, sometimes feel a lot of stress and pressure, not very well paid

Fortunately, there are some senior managers who get it.

Form over content. Muliti-sybillac double talk. Always need to worry about anxiety driven managers who guard their title and territory with jealous anx.

Everyone spends time looking over their shoulder. Keep walking past them.

The people for the most part were all very nice and management in NY is very supportive of the group.

Work hours are terrible. Even if you become a VP, don't expect your life to get much better.

Less of a "throw them in the deep end" mentality for the interns would help.
