I have been working at Cititec

    Pros

Cititec supports and empowers its staff to excel. They encourage you to develop your own market and own it, and there are people within the business who are extremely successful with very strong market knowledge. They promote internally, and give struggling Consultants a LOT of time to try and turn things around.

    Cons

Relatively flat structure, so it is difficult to move up past Principal Consultant or Manager....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to promote within and empower loyal individuals accordingly.

I have been working at Cititec full-time

    Pros

Decent offices, infrastructure, some good people and a good client base, reasonable compensation and commission for the industry.

    Cons

CFO and senior management are all a complete joke and lack any detailed knowledge of either the industry or the markets they are meant to be responsible for, their performance in client meetings is embarrassing .After a disastrous bust up between the two brothers who owned the business the family atmosphere that the company sold itself on is clearly no longer there. Sales employees have half halved in recent months resigned or fired to cover management failings.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to the CEO is open your eyes and change the senior management quickly. They are either completely incompetent or manipulating you to order cling on to their over inflated salaries. You need to make them accountable, if people are working hard then what are the managers doing to ensure they succeed? If you hire Senior managers who are meant to be business developers for their teams where are the results?!

    Cons

Always playing catch up with the market and not the small firm they used to be despite still pitching those values.

I have been working at Cititec

    Pros

Friendly, Family orientated environment where staff are rewarded for the hard work that they put in. Opportunities for growth for those people who are serious about their career.
The company has very much a meritocratic environment whereby trust is placed in the individual and in their capacity to think outside of the box.
A company that invests in the training of their staff with a structured career path

    Cons

Being involved in a company that is part of an industry (Banking and Finance) which receives regular bad PR Coverage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to the company would be to continue to look to promote people internally whenever it is possible to do so.
