It's an alright temporary job, but I couldn't imagine making a career out of it.

I have been working at Citizens Community Federal full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Co-workers are pleasant. Good rapport with some of the customers.

    Cons

It seems as though management doesn't understand that maintaining lower level employees is important for creating trust between the bank and its customers. When customers notice that the employee turnover rate is roughly every six months, it is not good for business. More steps should be taken to keep current employees satisfied.

I have been working at Citizens Community Federal full-time

    Pros

Great Staff to work with, those who have been there long are very helpful. Have frequent contact with upper management, and connections with HR, service center, IT etc. which makes it easy to get help or solve problems. Wonderful products!

    Cons

Turnover is terrible, there isn't proper training for the smaller positions so the employees make frequent mistakes and make no money for the newer branches. Any employees outside of the corporate district are disregarded. No room to move up in the company as there are NO management positions outside of DMs. No bonuses. No raises unless you're promoted, which very rarely happens.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A training program should be implemented for incoming staff, or one branch from each district should have an experienced employee who is dedicated for training all new staff. More raises, or incentives (attainable) should be implemented. Focus on helping and growing the lower/new branches instead of praising just the home branch for it's stable success.

I have been working at Citizens Community Federal

    Pros

flexible hours, great school job, the hours are pretty good as well.
The weekend hours are only Saturday until 1:00

    Cons

few opportunities for advancement. Even if they say there is.
Pay is the worst of all banks in the area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise to expand other branches only if the funding needed is available. It seemed that the newly opened branches were not efficient

I worked at Citizens Community Federal full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Many of the people working there are very nice and usually willing to help. Company is moving in the right direction given where they were, but still seem to prefer to hire upper management from one certain bank.

    Cons

Lack of proper training, unrealistic expectations, some mid managers unwilling to help much, currently in hiring freeze because of poor decisions by previous upper management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't take advantage of employees and get some better training in place.
