I have been working at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great Community, smaller banks are more like a family. It's not everyday where even the CEO of the bank knows who you are. Bank Hours always ensure a decent work/life balance.

    Cons

Being a part-time employee gets your benefits taken away. Working six days a week even if part time is a real pain. Sometimes it can be hard to get time off depending which branch you are at. Typically if you don't ask a month ahead of time forget about it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure everyone is following the rules. Too many inconsistencies among employees.

I worked at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

None. Everything about this place was grossly mismanaged and unprofessional. The quality managers left inside of 3-months due to the charade of professionalism.

    Cons

Lousy pay, lousy hours, lousy "commission." Backstabbing among the plethora of uneducated dolts vying for "DDA's" and approval from the managers who would go "Business Blitzing," but were really sleeping in their cars, or having sex in the lavatory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Kill yourself.

I have been working at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits were okay and the 401k was decent

    Cons

Worse sales pressure then any of the actual retail sales jobs I had before this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get real with the sales numbers if more then half the people are not making goals they are too high. Plus people only need one checking account not 20 to inflate branch numbers

I worked at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The level of accounts that you need to sign up is not as strict as other similar jobs. It was a fun working atmosphere.

    Cons

The pay was not very high compared to the same job at other companies. The benefits and perks were also not as high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the level of responsibility, but also increase the pay.

  7. Worst job ever! Good luck making any of the money they promise in the interview.

    Pros

None with the exception of meeting a few really nice people

    Cons

Outrageous sales goals, impossible to achieve bonus with too many variable to ever make commissions. Poor management, extremely high turnover, outdated technology.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a clue! It's all starts at the branch level. Hire qualified branch managers who know what they are doing.

    Cons

the management is terrible they want you to harass the customers too aggressively. Like doing the bankers job but not getting the pay of a banker or the bonuses. high turn over rate

I worked at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, remote work opportunity, good locations, comfortable working environment.

    Cons

NO collaboration between senior level management and the workforce. Impossible to be successful using outdated systems and processes. No one to assist with career advancement or management. Many rumors make it difficult to concentrate on performance with the fear of being laid off or sold. Continually decreasing benefits to improve bottom line for IPO.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be better communication with your direct reports and better download from senior management. Better collaboration with senior management by bringing ideas and suggestions up and making sure that it gets back down. I would not recommend a friend to work there and I would not go back there.

    Pros

Nothing waste of time. Company isn't the best place to work

    Cons

They continue to roll all sorts of responsibilities onto personal bankers. Due to downsizing it has now become there problems. Not a very good work ethic
