    Great workplace!

Staff Consultant (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsYoung group of individuals, always looking to have fun when not working, and make work fun while working. You travel a lot and get to see a lot of the country and learn at such a fast pace it can become stressful at times, but worth it. Citrix pays for all certifications you want as long as you can deem them necessary. Weekly company get together's. Holiday parties!! Managment really cares about you and makes sure you are comfortable with who you are working with, where you are working, and takes any criticism to heart. Citrix has some of the brightest people you will ever meet!

ConsTakes a toll on your personal life due to the amount of travel. A lot of inter-office competition.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great company but local management might be an issue.

Lead Sales Engineer (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsAlways proud to work for Citrix, they have a good name and the management at the top is good. The product is rock solid and easy to sell. Engineering backs up the field. If needed, there is a good life/work balance and the benefits seemed pretty good at the time.

ConsLocal management can be pretty horrible, it all depends on whom you report to. At some places managers can yell and it is all about making money. Your past performance has no baring on how you will be treated in the future.

    Great (but very busy) company

Global Customer Support Specialist (Current Employee) Brooklyn, NY

ProsAbility to work from home. I'm able to balance personal and professional life. Great medical benefits, tuition reimbursement, the people at Citrix are friendly and nice to work with.

ConsThere are sometimes few advancement opportunities, and there are a lot of deserving and qualified individuals. Despite this, I personally feel this is a good company to work for.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen new products or features are launched, there should be a training process that is always parallel to the launch dates.

Overall, good place to have worked, but glad I am not there anymore

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsGreat products, respected in the industry, and there were a lot of clients interested in learning more about what is offered and what is coming out.

ConsThe work life balance is not great, and the only thing that mattered is the sales bottom line. I guess that is not all that uncommon for companies, but they took it a bit too far.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat the workers with a bit more respect, and simplify some of the internal processes. Provide better management training as well.
