I have been working at City Index full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Interesting work and projects.
    Relatively relaxed atmosphere.
Good work life balance - *not* a long hours be seen at your desk type atmosphere.

    Cons

Progression only for brown nosers - if you excel at your job but don't brown nose then you are bypassed. Middle management form cliques with their "favourites". Parochialism and nepotism abound.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dump the middle management layer. Reward your superior performing employees. Strongly discourage brown nosing as the only way to progress. Be open to new ideas and suggestions for improving and expanding the company.
