    Pros

It is great if you like being of service to your community.

    Cons

Lack of raises the last three years has kind of been a bummer.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people who really produce results and weed out those who only give lip service and excuses.

    Pros

    Good benefits and job security.

    Cons

Lack of pay raises, administration incompetent, poor leadership and decision making within the police and human resources departments, and lack of respect for employees.

    Advice to Management

Anyone that "grew up" in the Annarino administration of the Police Department needs to be removed from a leadership position. Stop spending countless dollars on surveys to assess whether something is feasible or not, make a decision and go with it, or not. For a small city, there seems to be a lack in oversight of the various departments that comprise city government, and a plan to improve this lack of accountability would greatly improve the image of the city as well as prevent future controversy and lawsuits.
