Pros – Good benefits and laudable effort to include employees in decisions about compensation. Some departments are just better to work for than others.
Cons – Poor supervision / evaluations; low wages; disjointed direction from the top; little emphasis beyond lip service to provide consistency throughout the organization; budget approach is in a constant state of change, which makes it difficult to provide ongoing support for some programs.
Advice to Senior Management – Way too many irons in the fire. Decide what's important and focus on those things. Need to get expert help at standardizing business practices.
