    Pros

For a student, the job pays fairly well. The job environment is relaxed. The hours are flexible if availability is communicated in advance.

    Cons

Management was unreliable. Some equipment is old and requires more work than necessary. At times, the facility could be understaffed.

  3. Has potential but lacks leadership

I have been working at City of Hercules full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

lots of potential- envolved citizens makes for a great start

    Cons

Managment makes it seem like clown car! No clear vision of what direction the city is heading in. Too bad because there are some talented folks there but they leave as soon as something better comes along.

I worked at City of Hercules full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Connecting with the community and watching the kids grow up. The people I worked with became a second family. I was there for 9 years. it was the last year that got rough. I formed some of my fondest memories.

    Cons

drama with one of the office staff that never go resolved making it hard to work in a unpleasant environment. The budget issue is what tore the city apart.
