ProsFlexible scheduling for me. Overall everyone is nice and the workplace is not hostile at all. Other than the fairness and compensation issue, everything else is great.

ConsGetting ahead is not easy. Some people start the job already with grade levels that are higher which doesn't seem fair to those already working here. And they do pretty much a lot of the same things others do for less pay. It seems like they do what they can to keep you down because it looks better for management when they can pay workers less than what they should be getting.

Advice to Senior ManagementI was told that I was underfilling a position that I started a few years ago. I was also told that they could bump me up after a year to the proper grade level. I later learned that I should have gotten it in writing. My advice to others is to ALWAYS get it in writing. My advice to management is don't make promises you don't plan to keep or pretend like it was never said.
