    Pros

Great medical and retirement benefits. Very good opportunities for advancement and career changes. A great city to live and work in.

    Cons

Salaries are not in line with the cost of living in the city of New York. Certainly not the borough of Manhattan.

    Advice to Management

Try to retain your experienced and talented management staff. Treat them with respect and they will lead your younger personnel into the future, teaching what they need to learn to succeed.

High call volume could be stressful. Managers had a tendency to favor some representatives over others. Required to work at least one day during the weekend.

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat Call Center Representatives with respect.

    Pros

Dedicated people working hard to make life more sustainable for all New Yorkers

    Cons

Sometimes bureaucracy across agencies can make for challenging conversations to get projects accomplished in a timely fashion.

    Advice to Management

I have a great manager but some do not. Treat people with respect but don't assume new hires understand all the lingo.
