    Pros

Great medical and retirement benefits. Very good opportunities for advancement and career changes. A great city to live and work in.

    Cons

Salaries are not in line with the cost of living in the city of New York. Certainly not the borough of Manhattan.

    Advice to Management

Try to retain your experienced and talented management staff. Treat them with respect and they will lead your younger personnel into the future, teaching what they need to learn to succeed.

    Pros

Great benefits. You have a pension and a lot of opportunity to save your money. You get to have a structured work day.

    Cons

Not the best resources - staff isn't always trained. City doesn't always provide the training you need.

    Pros

Great fellow interns. Many friendly and welcoming staff members. Great group morale in the office.

    Cons

Sometimes there was a lot of downtime for interns. Sometimes interns were expected to do things with very little instruction or oversight.

    Advice to Management

Overall summer internship program is very good and interns do end up learning a lot and gaining a lot of experience.
