    Cons

    - direction of the company unclear

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is really not much feedback one could leave to Clark Consulting management. The nail is in the coffin unfortunately.

    I worked at Clark Consulting

    Pros

Culture of the company is very good, good group of people to work with. Work scheduling isn't overly demanding and as long as you do your job, you won't be scrutinized.

    Cons

The direction of the company was never very clear, mainly based on the uncertainty of the industry. Not a lot of room for advancement.

I have been working at Clark Consulting

    Pros

flexible hours, great people, many long term employees

    Cons

Management seemed at odds which each other at time and offered little or poor communication, went from a flat, across the board bonus plan to a staggered one that was a slap in the face for the lower tier workers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It's too late now.

After Rich Chapman departed, the company fell to pieces

    I worked at Clark Consulting

    Pros

Small company, family friendly. People genuinely loved working there, sense of collaboration across the board, summer hours, employees well taken care of, great bonus plan.

    Cons

Once Rich Chapman left, senior management fell apart almost immediately. Constant reshuffling, people had to re-interview for their jobs, individuals started to slowly leave, many of the original management under Chapman left one by one.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing now since the Bloomington office has shut down. Clark is no longer what it used to be and probably will never be what it once was.

I have been working at Clark Consulting

    Pros

Great place to learn about the industry if you have the drive to do it on your own.

    Cons

Senior management needs some direction in how to deal with people, and personel issues. Making the simplest of decisions requires an act of congress, and things need to be streamlined. It was a much better place before Aegon came along.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work as hard to keep the employees happy as you do for the clients, when bonuses are handed out it should be a flat rate to everyone, the percentage system in place currently is a slap in the face to people lower on the ladder even though they contribute just as much to to the companies success or failure.
