    Pros

    Commision/ spiffs are very nice as long as you work in a busy office.

    Cons

    They need to train the newer works a little better. Maybe take some time out to go slowly and recruit managers of slower offices to train the new people in their office before they move them to a busier one.

    Pros

    the voucher was the best thing... until they started putting restrictions on it.

    Cons

    awful awful hours, never allowed to take time off, especially in the summer, long long hours, late night, work every single saturday, good luck getting a saturday off! greedy ceo's, lying ceo's, employees were encouraged to lie to patients to get them to buy more. you will be moved around constantly and not reimbursed for gas when you have to drive to an office 50 miles away. offices are filthy--- and the employees have to clean them! including the bathroom! you never ever get a day off from working here, one day during the week and sundays makes you feel like you are constantly working. managers are lazy and are usually special pets of someone in corporate so dont expect anything to change when you go to complain. raises are a joke, they pay is a joke, and there are no benefits.

    quit being so greedy and making your employees work on holidays... no one needs to come get glasses on christmas eve, so much for acting like you are such devout catholics.

    the only reason to work there as for the voucher they give you

    I agree with the previous post there's no reason why they should have so much favoritism around there and on top of that the people who actually run the company will come in and lie to the the hard working people that put money in their pockets. they said that they weren't selling the company but they just sold the company after stating that was not the case and the buyers now owns 80 to 90 percent

    stop lying to people stop taking favoritism .you should give it to the people straight otherwise people will band together and get rid of your point system and stop firing people over stupid stuff

    Pros

    Co-workers are great and the patients are great.

    Cons

    Too much favoritism. If you are the bosses "pet" the rules do not apply to you. Management backs other management and it does not matter what the issue is. They do not care to hear both sides of the story.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I think a great way to fix the issues in the company would be to have someone who actually cares about employee morale come and talk to all the employees, one on one. I realize this would be time consuming, but it is the only way to get to the bottom of the issues. Also, the employees should not get in trouble for being honest about the issues. Then, this person would have to be willing to make changes. People in management positions should not be allowed to have a best friend as an employee.

    Pros

    Not applicable unless you are just looking for a paycheck which won't be steady because they will cut your hours.

    Cons

    Nepotism. Sexual harassment is rampant but don't talk about it or you will be punished. Its nearly impossible to build a patient base when you never work in your home office. Health benefits are actually supplement plans. If you are a Jxxxxxx, babysat for a Jxxxxxx, or lived near a Jxxxxxx you are on the fast track.

    Promote based on merit. Listen to employee complaints even if you want to believe they are not true. Treat your employees as if they were family since you would like to promote your ethics as small business.

    Pros

    Most of the time, you get really decent people to work with. The patients are wonderful.

    Cons

    Corporate does not care about giving you benefits, the pay you deserve, the respect you deserve. Basically, if you want to work for an employer that is downright taking advantage of you and occasionally patients, Clarkson Eyecare is the way to go.

    Stop being so greedy. Treat your employees like human beings. Give benefits. Better Holiday working hours. Better hours in general. Stop cutting hours. You're treating us like trash!
